Awards and Recognition

In 2017 the United Nations recognized 462 Halsey Community Farm as a model for sustainable urban agriculture. We were one of seven gardens in all of North, South and Central America to receive this award. We also received the sustainability award from Green Thumb/NYC Parks Department. We look forward to years of sustainable, innovative urban farming ahead of us.
